For the first time, doctors have tied infection with the Zika virus to possible new heart problems in adults.  People who travel to or live in places where Zika is spreading need to watch for possible symptoms, said Dr. Martha Gulati, cardiology chief at the University of Arizona - Phoenix who is familiar with the results.

Dr. Robert C. “Robby” Robbins has been named the finalist for the UA presidential job by the Arizona Board of Regents today during a press conference at UA’s Phoenix Biomedical Campus.  The regents voted unanimously to select Robbins for the job.

The fitness tracker company announced new tracking tools designed to give users greater insights into not just how much sleep they’re getting, but also how restful that sleep is.  Dr. Michael A. Grandner, director of the Sleep and Health Research Program at the UA College of Medicine - Tucson, Dr. Allison Siebern, a consulting assistant professor at Stanford University’s sleep center and Dr. Michael T. Smith, Jr., of Johns Hopkins University, all worked as paid consultants on the project, sharing sleep expertise with Fitbit’s research and development team.
