People and Programs On The Move

Two faculty members at the University of Arizona College of Nursing recently were inducted into the prestigious American Academy of Nursing.

Terry A. Badger, PhD, APRN, interim director, Division of Nursing Systems and professor, UA College of Nursing, and Sally J. Reel, PhD, RN, APRN, BC, clinical professor, UA College of Nursing, were inducted into the American Academy of Nursing during the AAN's 31st annual meeting and conference in Washington, D.C., Nov. 13.

Criteria for selection of Fellows into the American Academy of Nursing includes evidence of outstanding and wide-ranging contributions to nursing and health care, as well as evidence of strong potential for continuing influence on nurse practice and health policy aimed at improving the health of the American public. Each nominee was sponsored by two current AAN Fellows.
