Ground-breaking Ceremony for new Behavioral Health Facilities and Emergency Department at UPH Hospital

This Oct. 26 ground-breaking ceremony will kick off the construction of two major psychiatric facilities and a new emergency department at the UPH Hospital campus. The project is the result of a unique partnership of public and private organizations.

The Behavioral Health Pavilion will provide inpatient, outpatient and emergency medical and psychiatric services. The Crisis Response Center will provide assessment, stabilization and treatment to patients not requiring emergency medical or acute psychiatric care.

Integrated into the UPH Hospital campus in Tucson, Ariz., the two new behavioral health care facilities, working in unison with the hospital, will offer an integrated approach and a continuum of care for patients experiencing mental health issues.
