Public Affairs Team
The AHSC Office of Public Affairs (OPA) provides media and community relations support for the UA Colleges of Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, the UA Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health and University Medical Center.
Staff members are actively engaged in facilitating print and broadcast feature stories, producing publications for internal and external audiences and furthering outreach activities, such as the AHSC Speakers Bureau, MEDCAMP, UA Mini-Medical School and tours for a wide variety of visitors.
OPA staff can be reached during business hours at (520) 626-7301. Staff members serve on a 24/7 on-call rotation to respond to media inquiries outside of normal business hours. To page the person on-call, dial (520) 694-4480, pager #7332, or call the University Medical Center page operator, (520) 694-6000, and ask him/her to page.
